Who are the Federation of Small Businesses?

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is a UK membership organisation for small businesses and the self-employed, established in 1974. It’s a not-for-profit body that combines two things: it lobbies government on behalf of small businesses, and it provides members with practical support — including a 24/7 legal advice line, tax investigation cover, HR and employment guidance, and a range of other business services.

Important note: I’m an independent FSB Membership Advisor. The information below is intended to explain the support available through FSB membership. I do not provide legal, HR, employment or tax advice myself. My role is to help you understand what FSB membership includes and connect you with the relevant support. Advice and representation are provided by FSB-appointed specialists based on your individual circumstances.
